I just wanna start by saying I was totally pressured into sharing this build This character is my original Neverwinter character. I made "Naughta Ho" (deemed a bad name by neverwinter) when the game was first released on XBone. It was originally a Hellbringer Fury buld. I have tweaked it many times and its now Hellbringer Damnation. I have a ton of experience both bad and good. This was a trial and error as well as taking from other builds. You will notice many similarities to Chalupa Batman's Soulbinder build. I want to go on record saying that the Soulbinder is much more forgiving. You need to have high level gear to make this build work in all situations. Disclaimer end. Race/Starting Roll
I covered race in my soulbinder guide. Pretty much Dragonborn/Tiefling/Human are the best choices. Starting Roll: Str 10 Con 20 Dex 10 Int 12 Wis 10 Cha 20 All points should go towards Constitution and Charisma. This is a high level end game build. There is no need to put points in anything other than Constitution and Charisma. Heroic Feats:
Energizing Curse 2/5 (gain 12% more action points when attacking cursed targets with at wills) Weapon Mastery 3/3 (Increased your critical chance by 3%) Toughness 2/3 (Increases you maximum hit points by 6%) Empowered Rituals 3/3 (Your encounter powers deal 6% more damage) Determined Casting 5/5 (Encounter cooldowns reduced by 10%) Devastating Critical 3/3 (Increases critical severity by 15%) Scornful Curse 2/3 (Increases the damage directly dealt by deadly curse and lesser curse 20%) (if human 3/3 and 30%) Blood Pact of Cania 2/5 (ONLY IF HUMAN: Increases the amount of bonus damage Constitution gives you by 2%) Paragon Feats:
Damnation Paragon: Parting Blasphemy 5/5 (When a curse is removed from a target, deal 6% of weapon damage to that target) Syphoning Curse 5/5 (When a cursed target is killed, the slayer of that target is healed for 100% of your weapon damage) Spiritfire 5/5 (Foes near your soul puppet now also take damage 50% of your weapon damage every second) Burning Puppets 5/5 (Your soul puppets have a 25% chance to apply a lesser curse when they attack a target) Warding Spirits 5/5 (While you have a soul puppet active, you take 10% less damage) Burning Puppets 5/5 (Your soul puppets have a 25% chance to apply lesser curse when they attack a target) Ghastly Commander 5/5 (While you have a soul puppet active you deal 10% more damage and life steal for 2% more) Wrathful Souls 5/5 (Your soul puppet deals 100% more damage, and their attacks now life steal 15% of their damage, healing you) Soul Desecration 1/1 (Your Soul Puppet is now permanent and will not dissipate after 5 hits**not true...it actually dies after a few good hits, bosses like Orcus can one shot it. Targets marked by Warlock's Curse are corrupted and will spawn a soul puppet when killed. Additionally every 15 seconds, the next time you deal damage you will spawn a soul puppet.) Fury Paragon: Critical Promise 5/5 (After you critical hit, your next attack will also deal 10% of your weapon damage as necrotic damage) Offering of the Prisoner 5/5 (When a cursed target is killed your damage is increased by 5% for 15 seconds)

I pressured him with light teasing and peer pressure. It's not my fault he is so susceptible to bullying.

TT will still more than likely be the best option for mod 10 but will no longer be the mob melting monster it is now. Only being able to target 1 enemy is going to hurt =(
Im more than likely going to be switching back to a Hellbringer/Fury build next mod. Whole new ballgame without the Soul Puppet to lean on.

Yeah, from what I can see it looks like Hellbringer/Fury is much more viable again.

Made some changes during double refinement with more changes to come.
I swapped out my Lantern of Revelation for a Wheel of Elements. With our Armor Pen boon being increased I was well over ap'd. Dropping the armor pen from the lantern didnt hurt at all. Lost about 2.5% Crit chance from the 1000 crit. Lost a very minor amount of combat advantage from the 600ca (i was over the soft cap so it didnt hurt too much). The main reason i did this was to use the Wheel as my active artifact. The fire bonus gives 30% damage increase for 28 seconds at mythic. The trick is being in a position to always pick up the fire bonus from the Wheel which is always in front.
The changes to come will be companions. Im planning on picking up a Fire Archon to run as my summoned companion. The active bonus is way better than the Mercenary's. I also added the Blink Dog, which is currently blue giving 3% combat advantage. I intend to get it to purple for 5%. Im also going to either add the new companion from the special event campaign or the Intellect Devourer and getting that to purple for another 5% combat advantage. Supposedly that combat advantage from the companions procs separately giving a larger bonus than the soft capped combat ad on my own stats. This should mesh much better with No Pity No Mercy which is pretty much giving me constant combat advantage.
I should add i wound up removing my Owlbear Cub for the Blink Dog and plan on removing the Erinyes of Belial for the other companion, so there is some sacrifice in making these changes.
All these changes will hopefully mean more damage and better prepare me for the next mod.

I decided to not change a thing yet haha. Mainly because I'm lazy and don't have a lot of time to test things out. Once mod 10 hits and I respec then I'll see where things land. I may go the support route for while...or not haha...buffer/debuffer to help the party with all the melting and stuff..or damage route....not sure. Will see what's fun haha. Keep playing with stuff though Paco. Helps my planning a lot and is great info for the other SW's around. Gonna suck if I need to bring my fire elemental to legendary though hahahahahaha

Doing nothing is actually a solid plan. Im already second guessing the move to the Wheel of Elements. Once we hit GH13 we will start the power boon (barracks). Using Power over Armor Pen is going to leave me with a slight deficit. Removing my Lantern may not have been the best move. Its gonna cost me if i need to reverse that one.
Im also not going to respec (unless its forced) right away once the next mod drops. Ill want to see just how much dps my soul puppet loses first.

I expect the fact that everyone tries to steal your fire buff doesn't help either.

Its tougher on my guardian fighter as i dont have a sprint. Its seriously not bad on the scourge because as soon as you pop it you sprint forward and its yours. I was also having a good time using it in Tiamat. Only those in your group can grab the buffs so it wasnt an issue with 25 ppl all around. Did some testing yesterday and with my bonding 12s i can maintain over 60% resistance ignored without the armor pen boon active. So the Wheel was a good choice and power boon here i come

Mod 10 is upon us and with it the Soul Puppet has become a Soul Puppy His hits have become the nibbles of a toothless newborn. I ran a few dungeons yesterday and although my dps was solid, it was nowhere near the mob and boss melting monster it was before. Nerfs i really felt: -Soul Puppet damage significantly reduced -Tyrannical Threat is now Tyrannical Curse. The new version no longer requires you curse your targets. Instead you are limited to 1 target. That target takes increased damage and spreads a percentage of the damage dealt to other targets in the area same as before. When that target dies you cannot curse another target. A second Tyrannical Curse is required. No longer the mob melting monster The loss in Damnation dps was no surprise as i knew ild make the switch back to fury. Ive been following Fernu Stormbringer on youtube for a while now and knew he would have a build to go by in mod 10. While i changed feats to match this build, im still messing around with a rotation that fits my playstyle (please note he changed feats and linked in the description of the vid. He added a feat that buffs groups damage by 20% for 5 seconds after a life steal. pretty cool) Im also still running all of my gear from this damnation build still. Ill keep you guys posted on how i fair in dungeons along side monsters like Neo and Gooey (doubt ill keep up now but we'll see). Ive also switched to our power boon. I still proc over 60% res ignored via my companion so the loss in armor pen was no biggie. Here is Fernu's build:

Update: I just wanted to give a quick update as to how i was doing with the new Hellbringer/Fury spec. Its awesome! Ive gotten used to a rotation that works for me. When i first started with this build i was trying to constantly change my powers to match whether i was fighting mobs or bosses. Its just not something i like to do and you wind up falling behind groups while changing your powers. I decided to stick with: -Pillar of Power -Arms of Hadaar -Killing Flames at all times. Ive been pleasantly shocked as to how hard and fast this rotation hits enemies. It hits WAY faster than my previous build. Im probably slightly down on overall power due to the loss of the soul puppet monster mash, but my personal damage is far higher. Im also sticking with class features: -No Pity No Mercy -All Consuming Curse Fernu Stormborn's guide calls for Flames of Empowerment, but i found i was doing more damage with No Pity No Mercy due to the effort that ive put in to stacking combat advantage damage. NPNM is pretty much giving me instant combat advantage in all situations as well as buffing Hellish Rebuke which is the atwill that has pretty much taken the place of Hand of Blight due to the fact you can spam it much faster than before. Im sticking with dailies: -Gates of Hell -Tyrannical Curse You can swap Gates for Brood of Hadaar for an easier single target damaging daily but Tyrannical Curse fills that role so not necessary. Gates is tricky to use as you need to target beyond the enemies opening a gate that shoots towards you damaging enemies in between yourself and the gate. Takes practice but is pretty handy against weak mobs. Do not use Gates of Hell on really uneven terrain. Its still glitchy in that department and can wind up doing no damage at all. I was down on the new Tyrannical Curse initially but have come around to the advantages of the newly revamped daily. Downgrade: limit 1 target, can no longer precast, once that target dies thats it daily over. Upgrade: casts twice as fast and seems to last longer. You are no longer stuck in a longish cast animation. You cast Tyrannical and can get to attacking your target much much faster meaning its easier to keep up with monsters in your group =) A typical rotation with my daily up goes like this: -Wheel of Elements artifact (grab fire) -Pillar of Power on top of enemy -Tyrannical Curse most powerful enemy -Arms of Hadaar -Killing Flames -Hellish Rebuke 2 to 4 times -Arms of Hadaar -Hellish Rebuke 1 or 2 more tiems -Arms or Killing Flames whichever is ready -Recast/reposition Pillar of Power (it will still be up as it lasts way longer than the cooldown timer) and continue rotation as necessary. So im really loving the build. Its a completely different play style than before which has injected a fresh feeling to the SW. Ive been pleasantly surprised as to the overall damage and speed of the output. Lesser players just cant keep up I used to hate playing my sw in Demo but now i love it again due to the speed of the rotation and faster damage output without having to depend on your soul puppet.
