I remember back in the days of mod 5 we would routinley run several dungeons back to back in essence farming for items gear ect , I know difficulties have increased but I would like to see I we can get back to really clearing dungeons like we used to , it may just be me but I don't see the kind of dungeon activity we had back then anymore

We've got a lot of players who are still trying to get up to 70 and others who, while at 70, are still under powered for some of the dungeons.
As more people come up through the grind, we can get more teams together for farming.
Also, I hope that the regular group of villains I run with can start putting together some runs to help people get more gear, who could then farm and also help other people get more gear, and keep paying it forward until we've got regular action all the time again.
Several of us are VIP, so we can give non-VIP players an HP buff that really helps in some of the tougher spots.

I know a few 70s that i believe left because there is little dungeon activity anymore, which has meant pugging, which is not so much fun. (I know people are busy and leveling and what not. Just sayin.)

This keeps coming up, and the reasoning remains the same.
Believe it or not, there was once a time we were in this same situation. There were some differences, sure; level 60 instead of 70 (which was rare in and of itself), green and a touch of blue gear, and more than a few daunting dungeons that none of us had any idea how to beat. "Us" at that time was thirty people, at best, with less than a handful of us at 60. We were in no rush to even try any of it until our "crew" was all ready; not geared, not having anything in particular, just ready to give it a try.
And so we tried our first epic dungeon, which was immediately followed with lots of jokes about premature ejaculation, inexperience and various other middle school-level murmurings as we died. A lot.
Then one day, we got further than ever before; another try and we got further still. Before long, we had finished one. And then another. The guild roster grew, people with zero experience in a dungeon let alone a group joining our ranks. Two or three of us would end up running a dungeon with new members, and share where you could sneak by a fight, hidden chest locations and what we felt was the best way to handle any given large encounter. Those members became more familiar with things, passed on the same knowledge to other members, and before long GOTWE ran anything it chose, anytime it chose, and expected a good time with no kicking and a chest at the end.
Ignore Mod 6, Mod 5, Mod anything. It took from the games release up to whenever you joined to be at that point. It took the hard work, cooperation and spirit to not give up by a lot of people to get to that point. It took nights of failures, days of misery and outright fear of certain bosses to get to that point. None of those qualities are present in any less quantity now than they were then, exponentially the opposite actually. I have been here, quite literally, longer than any of you, and I am telling you the guild will once again be at that point, but not without a united effort, a willingness to try and to fail, and the desire to wipe the blood from your eyes, brandish your weapon and stride into the unknown with a few trusted friends.
*edit for TL,DR: Gear farming is, right now, out of the question as people are still struggling to survive.

I'm ready even if I'm not lol!! Nude murder is a dirty business. Might as well start early so there is time to wash up before bed.

I also think part of the issue is simply that group structure matters more. Before everyone was a crazy super powerful killer, who could take a pounding....now it seems just about everyone is squishy. All I know is, I'm always up for guild runs, the most fun I have in the game is running whatever with folks and chatting, getting to know them etc. Gear will come...even if it's base don my luck and get 2 sleeves at a time haha!

Squishy is not an excuse; I am all the way up to 39k in hitpoints, and it is not unusual for me to be the last man standing. Dying is part of the process, and paradoxically, the only way to get better gear is to go work for it.

A lot of people are thinking about Mod 6 and the AD changes like they were a punch in the teeth.
Not so.
Instead, somebody kicked over our legos and all we have to do is build them back up again. It can be done and it is being done every day.

Levelling up does not stop at 70... the boons are a massive part of your character and also Runes, mine are all now at Rank 8 and during the next double RP I`ll hopefully be able to get them to Rank 9 Anyhoo I`m only missing a couple of boons now and some of them are really really powerful. I ran through Kessell`s earlier the whole way through with just me and 2 randoms, we did not have a healer or tank and just a couple of deaths, the boss fight was actually so much better as there was a lot less lag than with 5 players. T1`s are no longer a struggle at all for me so I`m just waiting for some more people to be able to run the new Epic`s. There is not a lot you can do except do your dailies every day and try to get all the boons (except ToD last 2).

Sorry. I was not trying to start something, just point out that the are a limited number of people whole could do this gear grind. Lately, that number seems to have gone down, not up ~ losing people to other guilds, people leaving the game, whatever the case may be. Generally, there are not enough people on to go grind for gear. And some done want the new gear, so aren't likely to grind for it anyway.
I try helping when can, bbut it has been quieter lately.
Some people got to 70 and went back to alts as well.
Again, everyone can play what they want, how they want, when they want, so i am not saying "get to 70 or else ". Just wanted to point that there are not enought people available to gear grind as suggested.
If i sound whiny, i sm not trying to be.

You didn't start anything; I am in fact one of those that has no interest in the new gear, but my favorite thing to do in Neverwinter is help other people get theirs. What good is a guild if you can't play together and help each other out?
It may be that I am doomed in my crusade to wander into a dungeon and hope someone gets some gear out of it. My easy solution to that will be to offer my services of stabbing, poking and otherwise annoying mobs to anyone that wants it for questing purposes. I figure either way, I either hang out with an old friend or make a new one.
