I saw it mentioned somewhere that it was supposedly coming in 2016 with the next Mod. Of course that's just hearsay so I wouldn't put too much creedemce in it. I'm looking forward to being able to afford some more coalescent wards though!

Its unfortunate to think Ive used 1000-1200 bars on coal wards in the last couple weeks. Atleast I now know to save what I have, what I get, unless I really need to use them.

Hi guys! Just want to share a contrarian opinion - yes, if you save up your bars for the change, you'll get coal wards at a ratio of 2.6:1 compared to now. However,t here is no release date promised and no firm guarantee that the change will be implemented when Underdark comes out. If you've got an enchant or artifact refinement that needs a coal ward and a stack of 200 trade bars on hand, ask yourself if the greater "fun quotient" you'd get from upgrading the item now is worth less than the 2.6:1 ratio of coal wards you'll get at some unspecified time int he future. Four to six months is a lifetime in MMO terms - most players will last less than 3 months on average, so don't rob yourself of fun in the mean time

Note: obviously, if you're a long term player who already has 6 months or more in the game, the advice is not directed at you.

Personally, I think Underdark will not be that far off from the PC release...maybe even before the holidays and this will be included. This is totally my opinion, not based on any published dates etc. Having said that, Wilford is right. Don't delay your fun for something that maybe is coming, sometime, down the road!

Just for clarification - the community moderators on the Arc Forums have repeatedly stated that Underdark isn't coming to XBOX until 2016 - however, they have not definitively said that the Trade Bar changes are tied to that release, it could come earlier.

I watched the stream tuesday. They said the tradebar change is def. coming. Probably with Underdark in 2016, but maybe sooner. So yes the changes are coming, i wouldnt have posted it otherwise.

Sorry, Xena, I probably confused things a bit - I was never contending that the changes aren't coming, just saying the following: - The changes are not tied to Underdark
- They could come before or after Underdark
- Don't skip the fun of better play with upgraded enchantments unless you know for sure the benefits of waiting outweigh the immediate satisfaction of upgrading now.
Hope that clears things up!

I used trade bars just to make some AD. Which was unnecessary as I have other things I could have sold. At the same time Im sure the coals will lose some value once this is in affect. Coals having less value will lower the price of things that coals are used on Im guessing. weapon/armor enchants for example. So maybe its only worth while saving bars for personal use.
Ive never really held forum staff to their word on any official game forum. Unless its official news, which Im sure any release date news on a module that they probably havent even started porting yet is unofficial. Unlike most developers they seem to be quick on the porting, but I doubt 8 weeks will be enough time. Unless its really small.

If they'd designed the system well, it would have only been a database update of a single value for each item they want a change for. They don't seem to have done many things with good system design, however.
